Most people do not fail at fitness for lack of information. They fail because nobody notices when they stop showing up. FitAstra is a mobile-first fitness platform operating across India that builds accountability out of four things: a verified coach, a workout partner, a local event to turn up to, and an AI coach that reads your actual training history.
How the platform works
Verified coaches
Every trainer listed on FitAstra is verified for identity, certification and experience before their profile goes live. Coach badges reflect sessions actually delivered and outcome quality, not self-reported claims.
Workout partners
Users find fitness seekers near them, send buddy requests and schedule sessions together. There is no fee for partner matching — it is free for everyone on the platform.
Fitness events
Any user can host an event, either private with invited partners or public with capped spots. Running groups, yoga, strength sessions. Hosting and joining are both free.
Astro, the AI coach
Free with every account. Astro's insights, recaps and chat are grounded in the user's real workout data. He never modifies a coach-assigned plan, and switches to a safety-first mode for any health or injury topic.
How we make money
FitAstra charges no fee for matching. Users pay only their chosen coach, for sessions they book. Sessions start at ₹299 — a floor, not a fixed price, because each coach sets their own rate, and the price is always shown upfront before booking. A session is a 1-on-1 video call plus that coach's workout and nutrition plan for the week.
Trainers join free. There is no monthly subscription and no upfront cost, and coaches keep the majority of their session earnings. Downloading the app, finding workout partners, hosting or joining events, and using Astro are all free.

Who built it, and where we are
FitAstra was founded by Gourav Rajwani and is based in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, India. The platform operates across India, with verified trainer availability highest in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad; online coaching is available nationwide. The apps are on the iOS App Store and Google Play.
